Did You Pay Enough?

In case you missed it, here is a terrific letter from a Steven Kraus, Plymouth in the Letters Section of the Strib this morning. Like many hard working Minnesotans, Kraus is looking for a state that has lower taxes upon retirement. Governor Dayton, Kraus is the guy who is paying for government while he supports a family. I’ll bet he is a a law abiding citizen and a great neighbor, too. What can we do to change his mind before he retires? Americans are mobile, wealth is mobile. Minnesotans may fly south to get relief from winter, but let’s create a state that retains its citizens rather than chase them away.

Tax Freedom Day Song: How Will You Celebrate?

Tax Cut Rally

Our good friends at the Tax Foundation have a fun music video with a songTax Freedom Day.”

We would love to produce these kinds of fun videos here in Minnesota. If you have any talent to lend in that department, let us know!

There are Tea Party events all weekend–an amazing one tonight (indoors!! where it is WARM) with Bill Whittle and Ernest Istook followed by a rally at the Capitol tomorrow—you can get all the details here.

I’ll be up at the Tea Party in Princeton tomorrow talking about public unions/collective bargaining and pensions. And of course, it is cold and windy!
